The atrium link extension is an expansion of the operating Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre by providing extra area of 20,000m² on three levels (hall 1, hall 3, and hall 5), across a water channel. The expansion enlarges the New Wing exhibition facility by nearly half the current functional area. 90m span steel trusses are erected over the existing link bridge without interruption to pedestrian circulation.
