Times Square, located in Causeway Bay, is a major shopping centre and office building. The original site was a 10,000m² former tramway depot. It is redeveloped into an iconic commercial complex of GFA over 180,000m². It comprises two office towers (one 33-storey and one 26-storey) above a 14-storey retail podium with 4 cinemas, and a 6-level basement. The development is linked to the MTR Causeway Bay Station through a pedestrian tunnel. The structure consists of concrete cores, steel frame, outrigger, and composite steel deck. Top-down technique, diaphragm wall, and slurry wall cofferdam are employed for basement construction.
